I feel regret like darkness hanging over me because I know I missed out on something. The choice came together like origami—a fragile crane turned into a squandered opportunity, a folded paper boat that would never be launched. Every night, I wonder what if I had gone for the governorship; the "what if" keeps repeating itself like a nocturne of unrealized possibilities.
